Today, people oscillate between two emotions in the digitalizing world. These emotions are the fear brought by uncertainty and the feeling of innovation. Within the framework of these emotions, we believe we are faced with a group that says digitalization is completely negative and another group that says digitalization is positive.
Perhaps we needed to be in the middle of these two groups for now, until the pandemic period. It would not be wrong to say that with the pandemic period, digitalization has settled at the main focus of every issue in our lives. During this period, we all saw that we need to be knowledgeable in order to take our place in the digitalizing world. We believe that once we have knowledge, there is no point in fearing digitalization. We all observe that with the rapid development of technology in recent years, the world has entered a major change and transformation. This change and transformation has increased even more with the pandemic. In addition, we foresee that a new order awaits the world.
We believe and advocate that our society, especially our young people, need to be prepared for this new era. We believe that societies that are prepared and update themselves will be successful; societies that are unprepared and do not update themselves will be unsuccessful. We want to be on the successful side, that is, the winning side, and also contribute to our country.
One of the most important responsibilities of civil society organizations is to prepare their target audiences for the future. With AIPA Academy, which we consider to be one of the most important brands of the Artificial Intelligence Policy Association (AIPA) family, our main goal is to increase the knowledge and awareness of our young people about technology. With this goal, we plan to provide the human resources needed in the technology world and include them in employment. In addition to these goals, by utilizing the power of our approximately 26 million new generation young people between the ages of 0-21 in our country, with an average age of 33.1, we want to create a benefit that will contribute to our country's technological power to be in the forefront of global competition.
As the Artificial Intelligence Policy Association (AIPA) family, we know that the stronger a country's technological knowledge accumulation is in today's world; the louder its voice is in the world. In our research, we have determined that our young people have a great interest in technology. With AIPA Academy, we are excited to enrich this great interest with knowledge through the education, network, and mentor support we will provide to our young people, which will increase their motivation in production, science and invention in the field of technology. With this excitement, we also know that the young people who will graduate from AIPA Academy will contribute to our country's goal of entering the top 10 economies.
