It is no longer the technology of the future, but the technology of today... 2030 yılına kadar 15,7 trilyon dolar ekonomik hacim yaratacak bir teknoloji... Artificial intelligence will have penetrated every aspect of our lives in the near future. While John McCarthy defined artificial intelligence as an engineering discipline in 1956, in 2017 Professor Andrew NG, one of the pioneers of artificial intelligence, described humanity's new electricity.The most important difference between these two definitions is that artificial intelligence has the potential to affect all areas of life beyond engineering.Just as electricity reshaped humanity socially, culturally and economically, artificial intelligence will transform life and humanity with the same effect.To ensure this transformation, a clear artificial intelligence stance and policy must be determined in every field, and artificial intelligence must be made understandable for all segments of society.Starting from this point, the Artificial Intelligence Policies Association (AIPA) was established in February 2021.AIPA, one of the first non-governmental organizations in the field of artificial intelligence in Turkey, aims to "create awareness about artificial intelligence in society, contribute to increasing individual and corporate competencies, and accelerate our country's goal of becoming one of the top 10 economies in the world with technology entrepreneurship; producing policies to create, support and disseminate a new entrepreneurship culture in our country." As the AIPA family, we will continue to increase social awareness and knowledge about artificial intelligence by publishing a book every year.The future is determined by those who plan it now.Therefore, the inclusion of artificial intelligence as a correct development element in the future of our country depends on the perception, processes and policies of the concept being carefully planned in advance, and our book will guide these plans.
