Kepsutlu continued his doctorate at Marmara University Middle East Research Institute, Department of Middle Eastern Political History and International Relations, as a special student.During this period, Kepsutlu's academic work, "USA's Middle East Policy: From the President to the President from the 90's to the Present", was published as his first book. Kepsutlu's second book is "Confessions Hidden in the Archive", which is the first and only book awarded by the Turkish Archivists Association.
