İrem Sezer graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Statistics in 2019.He lived in Portugal for about a year with the Erasmus program in order to see different cultures and experience the education system abroad during his education, and during this period he became interested in the fields of Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence. In line with his planned career goals, he completed several internships in this field and improved himself in the field of programming.Immediately after graduation, he started working as a Data Scientist at Foster Insight, a company funded within the scope of TÜBİTAK BIGG 1512 Enterprise Program.During his working life here, he had the opportunity to work on text mining issues and deep learning models (CNN, RNN, LSTM).Afterwards, he started working as a Data Analyst in Agricultural Credit Cooperatives and worked on credit and risk analysis.Currently, he continues his career as a Data Analysis and Visualization Specialist at the United Nations Refugee Commission. Due to his interest in artificial intelligence and data science during his school life, he tried to improve himself in these subjects by joining communities such as Global AI Hub and Data Science Earth. At the same time, he worked as a volunteer within the scope of social responsibility projects at AIESEC Ankara for about 2 years.He also carried out studies within the scope of the Data Science for Social Benefit program organized by TED University in order to use data science for social benefit and to develop policies based on it.
