He completed his primary and secondary education in Konya.He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics.He worked at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and the BRSA between 1986 and 2010. He completed his master's degree at Loughborough University of Technology and his doctorate at Exeter University.He taught master's degree courses at METU Applied Mathematics Institute, Financial Mathematics Department. He participated in meetings organized by international organizations as a participant, speaker and trainer (IMF, World Bank, OECD and Financial Stability Institute, BIS, Basel).In 2010, he started working full-time at Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of International Trade and Finance.He gave lectures on Risk Management, Banking and Financial Institutions, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Econometrics.He has been teaching courses on E-Commerce, Global Trade Strategies and Fintech for the last three years. Küçüközmen, who has been working as an academic consultant within the framework of the TOBB program for four years, continues his work on China's Belt and Road Initiative, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, the European Green Deal and regional policies.
