Figen Yıldırım has held managerial positions at universities for more than 20 years and currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at İstinye University.He has extensive experience in associate, undergraduate and graduate curriculum development at universities, certification in education, quality and sustainability processes and international collaborations. Yıldırım's areas of expertise include International Trade, International Economy, Strategic Marketing Management, Sustainable Marketing, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Consumer Behavior and Trends, Retail Management, Marketing Communication, Sustainability in Education Management, Business Development and Employment Creation.He worked as a coordinator and business development specialist in many projects such as the European Union and Istanbul Development Agency.She has also worked in leading companies such as Unilever Holding, Sütaş and Elginkan Holding. Figen Yıldırım provides consultancy and sectoral training to corporate companies and especially women entrepreneurs and SMEs on issues such as strategic marketing, branding, foreign trade and retail management, health communication and tourism, service exports, new media literacy and continuity in education.He is among the trainers of Kotler Business School and participates as a thematic speaker at the annual World Marketing Summit.He is especially known for his international marketing, country branding, increasing the digital maturity levels of brands and entrepreneurship projects. Yıldırım carries out studies focused on "Made in Turkey" and "Turkey Brand in the New Century of the Republic", and also works on the integration of brands with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and strategic management processes.He also has consultancy duties in various professional and regulatory organizations such as the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Exporters' Associations, TİM and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
