Born in Istanbul in 1981, Prof.Dr.N. Öykü İyigün completed his undergraduate education in the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of Political Sciences at Istanbul University, his master's degree in the Department of International Business at Marmara University, his doctoral studies in the Department of Management and Organization at Marmara University, and became an "associate professor" in the field of "Management and Strategy" in 2016.In his professional career, he first worked in the private sector and has been working at Istanbul Commerce University Faculty of Business Administration since 2008. He has many national and international academic publications in the fields of entrepreneurship, strategic management, organizational behavior, ethics, social responsibility, sustainability and artificial intelligence.He has successfully completed certificate programs in the fields of Entrepreneurship, Negotiation and International Management at reputable universities such as Babson College, Harvard University and Tufts University.He served as the Director of Istanbul Commerce University Leadership and Entrepreneurship Application and Research Center between 2015 and 2019.During the fall semester of 2017-2018, he worked as a "Visiting Professor" at Loyola Marymount University in the field of entrepreneurship in Los Angeles. During his university education, he worked as a volunteer at AIESEC, the largest student organization in the world.Assoc.Dr.İyigün became a member of JCI, an international association, in 2006 and has successfully fulfilled many national and international duties.He served as JCI Türkiye Vice President in 2011 and 2012.Assoc.Dr.İyigün received the "JCI Turkey's Most Successful Member" award in 2008.In 2009, he became the first Turkish member to receive the "JCI Europe's Most Successful Member" award.He served as a member of the TOBB Istanbul Young Entrepreneurs Board and the President of the "Research and Publications" Working Group.He has been the academic advisor of Istanbul Commerce University Entrepreneurship Community since 2010. He has been working as a freelance instructor in many reputable institutions such as Beta Eğitim, İGDAŞ, İDTM, Doğuş Holding, Turkuvaz Holding, Vodafone, Teknopark İstanbul, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Ardahan TSO, Tokat TSO, Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Aşkale Çimento and Albaraka Türk, Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education since 2012.He was awarded the "Young Academician of the Year Contributing to the Economy" award by Genç MÜSİAD at the TÜRGEB Awards in 2017.He is a Member of TOSYÖV ALEN Academic Advisory Board and Advisory Board Member of Ibn Haldun University Ethical Studies Application and Research Center. He has two books published in 2021 titled "Game Changing Power: Artificial Intelligence" and "Artificial Intelligence: Current Approaches and Applications", of which he is the co-editor and chapter author.
